Winter Blues Party
The annual winter blues party is set for January 28th, 6:30PM, at Al Hennigan’s house. This is our annual social get together where we have a chance to talk and tell ‘war stories’. There is no running involved, just social. The club will provide the food and drinks.
In order to get an idea of how much food and drink to provide, please email to let us know that you plan to attend. Even if you are not sure that you will be able to make it, still let us know that you are planning to be there—better too much food than not enough.
If you need directions, let us know in your RSVP and we will forward a map link.
Tims Ford State Park Run
It was a really nice day for a December Run. The Tims Ford run is a lot like many of the other Park Series Running Tour runs. It is a bit like a runners family reunion - well the whole series is like that. Runners from all over the state get together once a week in the winter months for a run. Often times it is weather that the faint of heart runner would not even consider running in. The Tims Ford run, this year however, had near perfect weather for a run.
Links to the race results have been posted on our Results page.

State Park Running Tour Calendar has been published
For 33 years the Tennessee State Parks have been sponsoring the Tennessee State Park Running Tour. The Tour consists of races across the state at various of the state parks. The runs range from 5 miles to a half marathon and occur in the fall/winter months of the year. There are incentives for those who run 5 or more of the series. The tour is a great way to stay in shape over the winter months. One of the nice things about the runs is that they all start at 11AM local time so you have time to drive to the races that morning. The Running Tour is not for the casual runner - these events are longer and the weather is often times cold, rainy, and/or snowy. They are great fun. You can find all of the information at the tour website.

We would like to thank those that came out for the run. A big thanks to the 41A Music and Arts Festival Organizers that provided the drink tickets to the participants. We would also like to thank the Tullahoma Police Department and the Tullahoma Cross Country Team for support on the race course.
For those of you who didn't get into the Middle Half
