Pancake Run 2018 Rescheduled to January 20

Pancake Run

The Pancake Run is our New Year’s(ish) tradition.  It helps us to get the New Year started out with right with a little running and a little socializing. This is a free event for everyone associated with the Mach Tenn Running Club.

Due to weather, the run has been moved back one weekend to Saturday, January 20 at 9:00 AM.

The Run – can be really any distance that you need/want that day.  We start from Motlow and most folks run/walk a loop that is a bit more than 4.5 miles.  There is also a loop around the campus (with very little traffic) that is an almost perfect 1-mile loop.  So, you can combine any combination of the two loops to get most any distance you need.

The Pancakes – after the run we retire to Al Hennigan & Melissa Miller’s home for a pancake breakfast.  Al and several other helpers will be preparing breakfast while the rest of us run so that breakfast is ready when we arrive.  The breakfast is all about socialization and getting to catch up with folks that we may not have seen in a while or getting to know some of our fellow runners that we may not have yet met.

If you are not up for a run that morning, feel free to join us for the pancakes.

Motlow College – 6015 Ledford Mill Road, Tullahoma – We meet at the parking lot in front of the Driver Baseball Complex, across from the Ingram Administration Building and the Library.

Al Hennigan & Melissa Miller’s home – 126 Hilltop Lane, Wartrace – don’t panic – it is only about 3 miles from Motlow- not really in Wartrace.   From Motlow campus take the Ledford Mill Road through campus to the 5 way stop and continue on Ledford Mill road (it is the road which is almost straight) and follow it almost 3 miles until it comes to a stop sign in front of the mill pond where you have to make a turn.  Make a right (which is also Ledford Mill Rd) and then you make the first right up a driveway which is Hilltop Lane.  The house is at the top of the hill on the left.
